How to use NoService AI

Text a question from any phone or satellite messenger and get one short, useful answer — no app, no data, no internet. Here's everything you need.

Your first 10 questions are free. After that, 1 credit = one question-and-answer.
Keep it short and specific — you get a single concise reply sized to one message.

Command reference

Reply with any of these (case-insensitive):

Command	What it does
`<your question>`	Get one short answer. 1 credit, charged only when the reply is delivered.
`BALANCE`	See how many questions you have left.
`BUY` / `BUY 250`	Top up. `BUY` = 100 questions ($15), `BUY 250` = 250 ($29). If you have a saved card, we charge it instantly; otherwise we text a secure payment link.
`SUB`	Start the Always Ready subscription ($7.99/mo, 150 questions/month). We text a secure link.
`REDEEM <code>`	Add credits from a redemption code (works fully offline).
`VERIFY <code>`	Confirm a code sent during web verification.
`RESET`	Clear the short conversation memory.
`FORGET`	Delete your conversation history and data.
`STOP` / `START`	Opt out of / back into messages. (STOP does not cancel a paid subscription — see below.)
`HELP`	Get the short command list.

How credits work

1 credit = one question and its answer. A credit is spent only when your answer is delivered.
Pay-as-you-go credits are valid for 12 months.
Subscription adds 150 credits each month; unused ones roll over (up to ~3 months' worth).
We'll warn you at 5 questions left, and again when you run out — just reply BUY.

Topping up off-grid

Save a card before you lose signal. The first time you buy on the web (or subscribe), your card is securely saved by Stripe.

Then, even with no internet, reply BUY from your phone or satellite device — we charge your saved card and add credits over plain SMS, no link needed. Never paid before? We'll text you a payment link, which needs a data connection to open — so stock up before heading out.

Supported devices

Any US mobile phone, plus SMS-capable satellite messengers: iPhone (Messages via satellite), ZOLEO, SPOT X, Somewear, Iridium devices that can send a text.

Tips for better answers

Be specific: “fastest way to treat a rattlesnake bite” beats “snake help”.
One question per message.
Include coordinates for location-based questions when you can.
For medical or life-threatening situations, act on the single most critical step and use your device's SOS to reach rescue services.

Managing your subscription

Cancel, pause billing, or update your card anytime via the Manage subscription page (Stripe Customer Portal). Canceling stops future charges; you keep credits already added until they expire. Replying STOP only silences messages — it does not cancel billing.

Privacy & safety

We send messages only in reply to yours. Your questions are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic/Claude) to generate answers; we never sell your data. SMS is not end-to-end encrypted — don't send secrets. NoService AI is an informational service and is not a rescue, medical, or navigation service; in an emergency use your device's SOS.
